- Is the Office pack offered?
Students can download Office365 for free via “My IÉSEG”, for Mac or PC.
- Is the Orientation week compulsory?
We strongly encourage students to make arrangements to be on campus on a due date, so that they can meet their fellow students, the IÉSEG teams and French students. Seminars are also being organised to help students start the year with all the tools they need to succeed in higher education.
- What if I cannot join the Orientation week on campus?
For international students, the Welcome Seminars are organized in hybrid format if for visa/academic reasons you are not able to join us on campus. You will find the links to the Zoom presentations in your schedule. Nevertheless, we encourage you to join us on campus to live the immersive experience of your first days at IÉSEG.
- What happens if I cannot arrive before September?
For exchange students, our Team will provide you with more information regarding the courses registration later in July. Please keep in mind to check the schedule and not to choose any courses which begin before your arrival. Make sure your late arrival will allow you to validate a requested number of credits.
For Bachelor in International Business, Post-Graduate Programs (Specialized Masters) or Double-Degree students: please contact the coordinator of your program.
- Can I change class group to be with a friend?
No group changes are accepted for personal convenience. However, you can request it for medical reasons (contact mas-sante@ieseg.fr ).
- How can parents access their child’s information (timetable, grades)?
A parent’s portal providing access to students’ grades, absences and course averages will open in September. Only the student can grant you access to the portal.
For students aged under 18, access is granted automatically from September.
- How to find my school certificate?
The school certificate is available on “My Studies > My documents”. It is available from the moment the administrative registration has been completed.
- Should I send you my Learning agreement before arrival?
We do not require the Learning agreement before your arrival and recommend you to fill it in after the Add&Drop period upon your arrival. Nevertheless, if it Is required by your home university, you can send it to us by email or submit it via OLA platform.
- Can I take a French course during my exchange period at IÉSEG?
Courses for beginners, pre-intermediates, intermediates and Business French for advanced levels are offered each semester at no extra cost to our partner universities. A French language test is scheduled prior to the arrival. Our Team will provide you with more information regarding the courses registration later in July.
- Should I book a place to live before arrival or I can do it upon my arrival?
Please keep in mind that it is quite challenging to find a good place to live with a reasonable price at the last moment. If you still need any help with housing matters, please contact incominglille@ieseg.fr or incomingparis@ieseg.fr (for international students).
