From travel documents to settling into your new environment, these essential steps will guide you through a smooth transition and successful start to your academic journey.<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Before arrival<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"big-list\">\n<li><strong>Apply for an accommodation and housing insurance<br \/>\n<\/strong><a class=\"Hyperlink SCXW21995444 BCX2\" href=\"https:\/\/ieseg.studapart.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Studapart \u2013 The Student Housing Platform partners with I\u00c9SEG<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Apply for a visa (if you need to)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Send your medical certificate to our Health Center<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Register for your courses (exchange students only)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Students with disabilities:<\/strong><br \/>\nContact the MAS referents via <a href=\"mailto:mas-sante@ieseg.fr\">mas-sante@ieseg.fr<\/a><\/li>\n<li><b>Pay attention to the dates! (course registration, request for accommodations, arrival on campus, etc.).<\/b><br \/>\nBe aware of the different deadlines in order to be well prepared for the start of the school year.<\/li>\n<li><b>I\u00c9SEG email address: the unique user ID for all the School&#8217;s tools!<\/b><br \/>\nYou will receive it before the start of the school year, log in before your arrival to make sure that everything works.<br \/>\nIf you have any problem, open a ticket with the support service: <a href=\"https:\/\/mysupport.ieseg.fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mysupport.ieseg.fr<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Check your schedule as soon as it&#8217;s available.<\/strong><br \/>\nIdentify the meeting point for your first day on campus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Upon arrival<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"big-list\">\n<li><strong>Validate your visa on ANEF website (for non-EU students only)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Apply for Social Security<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Open a bank account (if you want to apply for CAF)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Purchase a transport pass<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Buy a French sim-card (if you need to)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Download the apps useful for your academic year<\/strong>: &#8220;I\u00c9SEG Connect&#8221;, the School app and &#8220;Edusign&#8221; that you will use to attest your presence in all classes.<br \/>\nAccounts will need to be created with your I\u00c9SEG user ID.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This checklist is designed to help international students prepare for their studies in France and at I\u00c9SEG.
